Dale's barn used to be a dairy farm owned by the Hawthorne family, however the entire Hawthorne family succumbed to the new pressures of a post-apocalyptic Wisconsin and perished leaving their barn, 100 acres of land and livestock all unattended. After years of abandonment, and loss of almost all the cattle, the barn was found by Dale. With limited skill and knowledge of farming, Dale grew what little vegetables he could. Allowing needy passersby to stop at his farm for shelter and food, Dale gathered a handful of successors who dubbed the barn, Dale's Barn in memory of the man who reached out a helping hand in such tremulous times.
The barn is still pretty worn down, with mismatched wood used for supports and to cover wholes in the structure. Less then half of the original farm land is being used for agriculture while the other half is over ridden with weeds and trees that have grown since the apocalypse, however there is enough land to provide for the few inhabitants of the barn.
Inhabitants:
A few people who as kids remember stories of Dale that their parents told them, and 5 cows/bulls used purely for milk. (2d10 civilians)
